Saltstraumen

Pluscamp Saltstraumen Camping is located just off Saltstraumbrua, along Kystriksveien (Rv17), only 33 kilometers from Bodø. From the campsite there are 2-3 minutes to stroll down to Saltstraumen, the world's strongest malstrom. Salt strain can come up at a speed of about 24 knots and large swirls are formed when it is strongest.
